My super college!
ramanujam March 22nd, 2007
Ramya has tagged me asking to write ten things which i hate about my college. With all the zeal and delight here comes my experiences from S@&^@# school of engineering.
-The dusty roads and the scenic view of the kuppa thotti(dump) on the way to my college sitting inside the thagara dabba bus. Initially i used to feel nauseous but now pazhagi pochu( part of the way)!
-The dog-strap ID cod which has to be around the neck and the watch man doesn’t allow you inside the campus without it.
-The DRESS CODE(anna univ) sucks. Students are not supposed to wear jeans and should be dressed formally since we all belong to a professional college. WTF!
In future~Watchman: Aey! Today is friday, why didn’t you wear the magenta colour jetti. Go to the hostel and get magenta colour jetti from someone, wear and come.
-The floor officers and other goondas who feel like they own the world and never even can show some sort of respect to others while talking. They don’t know englipis and talk in a balderdash manner!
- The stinking smell of the canteen (lunch hall) which you can sense some 100 meters away. I stopped going there after my second year.
- The functions conducted by the college in which you have to be alive after hearing the speech given by all the honourable dignitaries of my college. Exception granted to Thavalai( my principal) who shamelessly praises everyone who sits on stage. Bring a kakoos cleaner, my principal will praise him for half-an hour.
-Most of the staff members who know zilch about what they are teaching. As if we care! It helps though.
-Seniors, other students and many people who live with the “I don’t care for anything” attitude. They come to college, eat in the canteen and go home and dont even show the slightest interest in what is going on around.
-The vetti publicity and hype created by my college for everything it does.(Mostly saraku illada matter)
- The close proximity of my college to the city. I have to walk just 8 kms to catch a PTC bus or come in a kuppa lorry till the bus stop. No i was kidding there is one highly frequent PTC bus(18 H) which comes once in 3 hours.
PS: Now a days, friends and lot other factors have made me stop hating my college! I am already starting to feel that it is just for an year more. Till then i have planned to cherish each and every moment from my college life!
I tag Mahesh, Sagaro, Suraksha, Raja, Sheky, TU dawg who would be completing his college shortly and Bharath who has completed his college.
Heart felt thanks to Ramya for this wonderful tag. I am satisfied ![]()

?? I thought Anna Univ canteen was pretty ok ..Whenever i used to travel that side, i used to stopover at the canteen for a quick and cheap snack , though i had nothing to do with Anna Univ!
I don’t study at anna univ…. I study in a private coll affliated with anna univ.
U can never make a stopover even somewhere near my college!
5 years down the line, this tag will be a looking back da
wonderful one …
but again 6 months after college , you’ll feel bad for bitching bad about your college … looking at the world out there, you’ll feel college is much better
@tu
Yes….very true!
I understand that your college life is going to end!
Orey the feelings daan:)
Thathuvama pozhiyara!
BUT…what u said is right machi, i have started to feel that now itself.
basically when i was in srm i hated it … but when i came out of it i realised what a cool place it was … that happens da
Excatly….happens to everyone.
When we are in school we bitch about it a lot but when enter college…”Oh! man, good old school days”
When you work…”Shit! I miss my college, my friends, the babes and everything sucks here!”
I would have loved to take this tag, but unfortunately my college is so good, that I don’t even know one thing that I hate about my college .. tch tch…
Wow! It is heartening to know that you loved eating that karapampoochi in your college noodles…tch tch…
You’re most welcome ! And kuppa lorry travel wouldn’t be such an bad alternative to my naai pudikara vandi like bus.
@sagaro,
that’s exactly why I didn’t tag u!
damn damn * a bad alternative !
My kaalej does this to youver englipis
@ramya
Naai pudikara vandi:))
ya….your college bus is the worsht and also the way in which they drive it….Uyir oosal aadidum!
you have the iron seperator for boys and girls right!
Enna koduma saravanan idhu.
Sagaro would definitely have 1000 things to bitch about venky but he is being humble.
Englipis la idellam sagajam
one question…hav u ever traveled in that kuppe lorry??
Ma coll is gr8 in infrastructure, students(no figs all attu) nd food… but..it is fundamentally not a coll, it is a gaol…and rules f ma coll sucks…
@Ramya:
Good thought… good thought.
@Jump:
No maan! I seriously love my college, its the epitome of happiness…
Also pliss check the meaning of “humble”, it might help your engli”piss”.
@Veeran:
I think he has traveled in a kuppa vandi. I distinctly remember you giving him a lift to onw of the blog camp meetings.
LOL.. Daei Raghuveer, your 180 cc Pulsar is superb da! Wikicamp ku nee lift kudukalena nan epdi poirupene theriaadu. One of the smoothest vandi da.. College ku MTC bus la dan poren. It was a welcome change to be the pillion rider in your superb Pulsar! And yeah, MTC buses are better than those Engineering college buses. I have the experience of travelling in both!
dont say that our college sucked..
firstly, we have never been to our college.. .. we had great fun outside the college which was possible due to this reason ..
hey machan .. u forgot about our one of a kind culs da…
@sagaro
If u call pulsar 180cc DTS-i as kuppa vandi…thn i think u mst change either ur glasses or consult a better doct…
@raghuveer
Fortunately…Not yet!
Ur coll sucks big time in many things all Jeppair grp!
Ore kuttayulu vizhunda mattai.
@sagaro
Thanks for the advise and spotting the blunder!
I will soon join Rapidex englipiss course and learn!
Naane osila thothikutu varda kedukada.
@Raghu
*Pulsar is the greatest vehicle* Therefore don’t stop providing lift to me.
@gadha
MTC buses are better because once they get worn out either my college or jeppair buys it.
With those new ones MTC is way ahead of the engg coll buses.
@Dog
Yes…We have not been in our college most of the time.
I love my college!!!
Yes, ppl my college conducts one of the greatest culturals ever in history.
But i guess culturals by Jeppiar grp will suck better. Separate culturals for boys and girls, no dance, clap rhythmically for 3 times. Suck suck suck!
Great machan….i am from ice dept…ur blog reflects the inner feelings of each and every student in our college…even though i am in pre final yr i too hv the same feelin of leaving our college after enjoyin a lot in our culturals 4 the very first time…keeep going da..all the very best
@Veeran:
What makes a kuppa vandi, a kuppa vandi is the kuppa on top of it…
Now that I have broken down the complexity of my statements, I am sure a multi-cellular organism like yourself, should easily be able to process the data, within 48 hours, considering your brain hangs if you process more than 8 bits at a time
gud post…
btw…u ever been to da admin office of ur coll??? its near the railway crossin in Kodambakkam…u mus visit it wen u r vetti…
Swell place…u can spend dayz over there…the slums, the dawgs, the stench and not to forget the sounds of the trains passing by….it’ll be really awesome if ur coll can org a field trip to dat place…
@sathish
Thanks a lot:)
Its good to see ppl from coll blogging! Yes the culturals was the biggest fun i have ever had in this college.
“I love my college”
Do leave ur URL…ur profile is not public.
@sagaro
Think veeran is dead!
@Karthik.h
Thanks:)
Field trip…LOL!
Yes i have been there once… when i joined the coll….Btw,Good description!
I guess u r sufferin from svere kuppaimania…
I feel it as disgrace to have responded to a UNICELLULAR ORGANISM…
[NOTE: Unicellular organisms have loadss f affinity towards kuppai.. :p]
@veeran:
Ah! I guess I had miscalculated. Its been three days and you still haven’t been able to stomach the comment. Neways, looking at your delightfully hilarious statements I find good reason to rip you apart…where should I start? hmmm… how about
“I feel it as disgrace to have responded to a UNICELLULAR ORGANISM…”
Then why the hell is Mr. Moron responding back if it is a disgrace to respond. Onaku sudu soranai manam vekam rosham ethuvume ilaya?
“I guess u r sufferin from svere kuppaimania…”
First, please do a spell check, second speak coherently, third speak sense. You have spoken about kuppai more than me. If you have learned to count, why don’t you just go ahead an count the number of comments with kuppai by you and by me?
“Unicellular organisms have loadss f affinity towards kuppai..”
Veeran, please stick to what you are good at (aka eating and farting) and don’t attempt your extraordinary claims in biology. Fungi aren’t unicellular and bacterias and virus’ which are unicellular don’t have affinity towards your vehicle.
With the above statement, I am giving up on Veeran. He is not even worth fighting back. He is as intellectually capable as a cow from some drought affected village. He has no talents or interests in life whatsoever. The only thing he could be considered an expert at is probably B and C grade tamil films, and of-course pornography (Taking note of the number of times he blogs about “Girl’s lipstick” “Girl’s shoes”). Sometimes he writes about them with such passion, that it makes you wonder whether he is a cross. Let me bring clarity to your thought… HE IS A CROSS DRESSER. Put more bluntly he is a male lesbian who would just go about sucking your cock in a frilly panties. His Pulsar is basically a vehicle he uses to find fresh new cocks to feed on.
I as a concerned friend and fellow blogger ( who also knows of his ‘lusty feelings’ for a certain girl called Sandya, since August 1989; who incidentally hates his advances and whatever else he tries to throw at her (lips dripping with lipstick) ), feel obligated to suggest the following suggestions to pool-chapum-veeran to improve the quality of his life ( and that of those around him ) . He could :
1. kill himself ( which would be the most environmentally friendly thing to do )
2. find himself a hobby or talent
3. grow a brain
I conclude by saying that we should all empathize with this jackass for the simple reason that he is too dumb to know any better.
Well i suppose bacteria lives in sewage! SO guess you too know a little about Biology…. And Hey people, i suppose this is a blog place and not a slum area. So it would be better if some senseless slum dweller incapable of controlling his language and has no other work but to abuse others can stay away from blogging. Let them first learn to speak properly. Secondly, this is no place to bring up your dirty personal fights. I am amazed as to why the owner has not intervened. This would definitely bring the reputation of this blog, which i hear to be quite good. I strongly condemn sagaro for his language and veeran for his responses. Hope the owner ensures that no such things happen in near future.
Regrads and best wishes
@Prasad:
Chillax dude. I have a pretty good knowledge of biology. So please don’t bother educating me or the blog readers about it. Bacterias are present everywhere and not only specific to sewage.
“So it would be better if some senseless slum dweller incapable of controlling his language and has no other work but to abuse others can stay away from blogging”
Do us all a favor and shut the fuck up with your ‘it would be better for some slum dwelling bla bla to stay away from blogging’.
So are you like the blog guru who decides who should blog and who should stay away? What makes you think it’s better if the slum dwellers stay away from blogs?
I am sure you don’t pay to read this. And am also sure you don’t get paid to write that sissy comment. So why you bothering about what other people are doing in their/their friend’s blogs? Is your life so sad, that you don’t have anything better to do than check some blogs and condemn people who don’t write comments up to your taste.
“Let them first learn to speak properly.”
er… you mean type, right? In which case I certainly think I can write well. If you think it’s not up to your mark, well screw you. I hope you are not suggesting that the internet/blog is only for people who can speak well. If that is what you are suggesting, then I think you must be arrested for making such politically incorrect statements.
“Secondly, this is no place to bring up your dirty personal fights.”
Okay, now we have a PA for this blog who is framing the policies and rules for discussions in this blog. ‘hi mr. Smart Ass, can I get a copy of your legal policy notice, so I can know what all things can be done in this place and what not? Mail me the copy of the policies to my email id, which am sure a person with a high iq as yours, would be able to find out easily’
“I strongly condemn sagaro for his language and veeran for his responses.”
Boohoo… go whine sissy.
PS: For your info - Jump, Veeran and I are pretty good friends… And we are all 19 and not 90. It’s very normal for peeps of our age to comment this way. So pliss give us all a break and open the window of your third floor apartment and jump out of it. If you don’t have a third floor apartment, pliss feel free to walk down to my house and perform the act. PEACE
PSS: Oh! Since it is against the policy of this blog (as framed by yourself), to respond to a comment that kicks your arse.. I am sure you gonna shit in your pants biting your nails off thinking of ways to get back at me… till then suker…
Good response sagaro! I would have been surprised if u hadnt typed anything like this…. Anyways for all the mud u threw at me i have only this to say. “May God be with you” and “All the best for your future activities”
Regards
I as a concerned reader of this blog and an ardent follower of the policies of this blog, condemn Prasad for responding to Sagaro’s comment.
Hey people, this is a blog place not a “Art of Living by Sri Sri Sri Sri (to the power 108) Ravishankar Baba” class. So it would be better is some pathetic Swamiji with great knowledge in biology and no other work to do but to bless people with his “may god be with you” stuff, stays away from this blog. Let him first learn to improve his life with his own god blessings.
@Prasad:
I was only kidding maan! You take things too seriously. Let’s not continue this here cauze there is nothing like face to face convo. Everything somehow seems oddly wrong in the electronic medium where you don’t know the tone/facial expression behind the statements.
On that note, thanks for the wishes!
PS: I don’t believe in the god bastard. I am a Buddhist. But in case you were referring to a hot babe by the name of God, I don’t mind she being with me.
@prasad
I appreciate your concern but all this is just for fun and neither of us have any personal conflicts.
As the owner of the blog, i jus wanted to document what is happening in my life so that it would be a pleasure to turn back the pages few years down the line. Unless any personal abusive content affecting a third person is put, i dont feel that any moderation is required.
Once again thanks a lot for all the concern and do keep visiting
