I just now returned home after attending the odyssey quiz 2006 and I am feeling both happy and also little sad. Apart from the Landmark quiz, this is considered to be one of the big quizzes to be held in Chennai and also in the country. With over 800 teams competing for the top eight spots to book a berth in the finals, these quizzes offer myriad audience prizes making everyone glued on to their seats till the...

Even as a lull lecture on computer architecture was going on in my class, I never heard a word as was my habit but this time it was because I was unable to forget about Priyanka, Esha and others (Oh no!!! not that way…) let me make it clear, they were the center characters of the book One night @ the call center by one of my fauvorite authors Chetan bhagat and I was unable to come out of the book which I...

After much hype and kicking off the lazy geek in me, I made my way to the 29th Chennai book fair conducted by the Book sellers and publishers association of South India in Quaid-a-Milleth women’s college, Oops!!! The college girls were given a holiday and no sort of entertainment from that side but still there are oodles and piles of books providing great distraction for any middling book buff like me. I am...

I’m reminded of the days when I was a boy scout singing

Come again another day,
Boy scouts want to play,
Rain rain go away.
The much awaited rain has lashed and made the horizon sink. Is it a welcome relief or a spoil sport for the water starved chennaites? It is dark as a tunnel everywhere...

There is always something which everyone seek out in their lives but we tend to do nothing to bring about this something into subsistence. That is why this something remains nothing.

Another fine day in my life, uneasy hectic schedule in college but another good dawn said me I could be aside my cool pals today. A guy entered my classroom and sat amidst our gaggle, felt as if I could add one more name to my friend’s list. A Quaker beside me asked the new comer his name, he was quite unaware and took his hand near his ears and signaled something, we could not get him at the first glance...

Rush up…., it’s gonna become 7.45, a few guys can be seen hurrying on the roads with neatly pressed, full sleeves, trousers and reflecting polished shoes. Are they executives, IT professionals ….? Definitely not, they are students of some private engineering colleges in the city. When you pass out of the schools, you feel somewhat relieved of your uniform which you have been wearing for the past 12 years...
